Symptoms of an Anal Fissure

Tears in the skin cause pain and the underlying muscle goes into spasm, this tightens the anus even further, causing more pain and discomfort when attempting to open the bowels. Pain and irritation caused by fissures can last several hours after bowel opening.

Fissures are often associated with some bright red bleeding when opening the bowels this is usually seen on the toilet paper but occasionally in the toilet as well.

Mr Radley was so highly recommended and I had made the decision to pay for my own treatment, I decided to go and have a consultation with Mr Radley and haven’t looked back since. ”
