Following an unbelievably painful attack of thrombosed haemorrhoids, I was advised to have a haemorrhoidectomy operation as soon as possible. After consultation with the surgeon I was left with the impression that recovery from the surgery may be painful and prolonged. So I decided to browse the internet for information on the procedure and was horrified at the numerous postings by people who were enduring a stressful and painful recovery, some completely incapacitated for weeks.

I then followed a link to the HALO website, and after reading about this relatively new procedure, decided that was the road to follow. And am I glad I did!
The quality of the facilities and the care and attention I received from Mr Radley and the team at The Priory were the best I have experienced. The HALO procedure was completed very quickly during the day, and. no overnight stay was necessary. Post operative discomfort was negligible and I was back at work early next morning. My quality of life has been completely rejuvenated with minimal disruption.

I have no hesitation in recommending this procedure, Mr Radley and the hospital, to anyone who wants to be rid of the misery of haemorrhoids
