Dr Nuton Faisal

I’m still on a “journey”, the word that was used on the day Mr Ismail suspected my diagnosis of rectal cancer; that was 7 months ago. After many investigations,  some light at the end of what has been, at times, a long dark tunnel.

Of course I wanted Mr Ismail to say that it’s just a “pile” and nothing to worry about. Naturally there are questions and anxieties but with tact and carefully chosen words both he and every member of his team have handled them very well.

Wisdom, excellent surgical craft and pragmatism describe the care I have so far received from the Bowel Clinic at The Priory. Mr Ismail is complemented by the excellent oncologist Dr Geh and Mandy Smart the liaison nurse who seems to be available at the drop of a hat.

My treatment is ongoing but my wife and I know that the team backing us are the best around and God willing will get us through the tunnel.
