After being diagnosed with bowel cancer, I was verbally recommended to the Bowel Clinic by a friend, who is a top stomach surgeon currently working in Australia. He advised me that  if he himself needed an operation he wouldn't ask anyone but Mr Tariq Ismail to assist.

He was absolutely right! Mr Ismail's skills as a surgeon are absolutely brilliant and my op went  without a hitch.Within 5 days I was out of hospital and on day 9 was well enough to go for a pub lunch.

My before and aftercare with specialist nurse Mandy Smart was second to none. She is so caring and willing to assist 24/7. This made such a difference.  I was then referred to Dr Ian Geh for treatment and it is his intelligence and kind manner  that is seeing me through in the best possible way. I cannot recommend The Birmingham Bowel Clinic enough.
